March 22, 2022 – Woodlands, TX – In anticipation of Precision Camera opening a new store in Shenandoah, Texas (Mid-end April, 2022), Matt Schneider the store manager rented the outdoor property and one of the studios at the epic Creative Co-Op and sponsored a free photographers “Shoot-Out” event.

Precision Camera was also gracious enough to provide several models who posed for the photographers giving them an opportunity to try out some new equipment and build their portfolios (no stress, just a fun afternoon of shooting). Terry Blackburn, owner of Terry Blackburn Fine Art Photography was on hand to demonstrate some traditional posing and lighting techniques.

Vic Cherubini, owner of the Epic Creative Co-Op built a number of outdoor sets including a replica of a 1880 Texas Chuck Wagon which debuted at the event. With the Rodeo in town, the theme of the shoot was “Go Texan” and the models dressed accordingly. Vic said he will be adding additional sets over the next several months, and requested ideas for props and sets to add to the Epic Creative Co-Op.

The Epic Creative Co-op is located at 701 Sawdust Road, in the Southwest corner of the Hobby Lobby parking lot.  This four acre complex has several photo and video production studios on site available for rental on a short or long term basis. Their outdoor sets and indoor studios are perfect for the photographer who wants privacy. They have both wooded areas and open fields, and they allow smoke bombs, glitter, and pets (including horses). They also have specialized photo equipment available for rental.

Precision Camera is the largest camera retailer in Texas and has been serving the Texas’ photography community since 1976. They will be coming to The Woodlands in April of 2022 and the new store will be located at 17945 I-45 Shenandoah, TX 77385 (in the Sam Moon Center).
